2005-08-28 [Igorina]: Jynx watched them slip off. She poured herself a shot of fire water and gestured with it towards the door. " Amor Vincit Omnia, " she said cynically and downed it in one gulp. The drow man appeared to have wandered off, so she went back to barkeeping with a brittle smile on her face.
2005-08-29 [Akayume]: Akayume was semi interested in what was going on, but she sat quietly by herslef never-the-less
2005-08-29 [Lothuriel]: *Helena sat down at one of the tables and pretended to riffle through her basket of dry goods as she kept a close eye on Jynx. She knew her little secret and was debating within herself whether or not she should get involved.*
2005-08-29 [Akayume]: Akayume noticed the new person, but made no change.
2005-08-30 [Igorina]: The door creaked open again. Oddly enough there was no one there. In a few minutes though, the top of a head slowly came into view, a head with intense brown eyes (or as intense as brown eyes could be at any rate) One of the eyes winked or it might have been a twitch. The rest of the person came into view, a gangly young fellow with unruly black hair, dressed all in black with a green cloak on. His head turned this way and that and he slipped stealthly into the tavern, keeping his head low, apparently not trying to be seen though his actions made him all too obvious anyways. He looked to be about in his early twenties and there was something definitely twitchy and high-strung about him.
2005-08-30 [Igorina]: He covertly slipped up to the bar and settled himself down, raising his head and looking over his shoulder a few times. His movements seemed more restless than purposeful. He patted the counter gingerly. " Phoenix Down Wine...and leave the bottle, " he muttered under his breath.
2005-08-30 [Igorina]: Jynx raised her eyebrows as he scattered a handful of something across the counter. She slid over to him and looked down at his money. Her face went carefully blank and she eyed the young man. " First of all, " she said in a slow and careful voice, " the drinks are listed there...and we have none of that sort of...wine. Second of all..." she sorted through his offer and picked one up, " most of these...are buttons..." She sorted out two coppers and took them. " Why don't we start you with an ale, handsome? " she said in the soothing tones of one dealing with a child with a knife.
2005-08-30 [Igorina]: The young man lifted his head. A knowing smile crossed his scruffy face and he tapped his temples. " 'Ale'...right. " he said in a conspiratorial whisper. " Fountain of youth...can't be having too many know about the quickening liquid, eh-eh? Oh aye. Smart one you are, Madam Bottlenurser. " Jynx merely gave him a bemused look as she slid a pint of ale towards him and went back about her business, while keeping a close eye on this fellow.
2005-08-30 [Akayume]: Akayume suddenly got her interest back. She got up, and sat down at the bar, nt to far from this man. "Can I have an ale?" the elfgirl asked in the direction of the barkeep.
2005-08-30 [Igorina]: " If you've got the coin for it, " Jynx remarked, watching the young man with a quizzical expression on her face as he carefully gathered his collection of buttons and small change back into his money pouch as if they were all coins of purest silver.

2005-08-30 [Igorina]: Jynx slid an ale her way and tucked the coins away. The young man was now examining his ale critically. He took a tentative sip.
2005-08-30 [Akayume]: Akayume took a heart sip, and brushed her hair out her her face, her pointed ears showing. She took another sip, and set down her glass on the counter, and leaned back alittle.

He shook his head. " Poor brute's far in his cups I suppose.." he murmured looking around at the inn with admiration. " Anyone can see how grand a place this is...fit to rival the halls of Na'tuth and the Palace of Imperia..." He sighed happily and turned back to the barkeep. " So...your compensation for a night under your roof, my lord? I would assume ordinarily your generosity would not allow payment for kindness..." he waggled his finger. " I insist. I could not sit easy in my conscience.."

2005-09-19 [Lordterrex]: *terrex nodded quite gravely*.. if you have to leave quick.. you need take big bites.. watch *terrex took a gigantic peice of mutton, the very peice twice the size of his massive hand, he stuffed 2/3s of the peice into his mouth chewing slowly and meticulossley, his eyes squinting with his full mouth*
